Cubs is back on for 2025 starting this Wednesday 12th February at 6:30pm to 8pm at the 1st Alexandria scout hall. A few points to note:

• Don't forget that our policies require 2 leaders / adult helpers to be present at the hall when supervising the cubs. Occasionally there will only be one of us at the hall when the first parents arrive early to drop off their cubs. If this is the case, you must not leave your cub with us until a second leader or adult helper has arrived. I know that this may seem overly strict, but we have an obligation to comply with the Scouts child protection policy.
• We're transitioning our record keeping from the program booklets to the online Terrain system. Can you please get your cub to bring their record book on Wednesday night so we can get the details of their progress so far and make sure we have that captured in the Terrain system.
• Next week, we'll be joining the Scouts on Tuesday night (18th February) to catch the Metro into the city and go for a swim at the harbour swimming area at Barangaroo. Please make sure you complete the separate Operoo that has been sent out for that night. Drop-off and pick up will be at the Waterloo Metro station, not the scout hall.
• District hike on Sunday 23rd. We have a hike around Manly Dam on Sunday 23rd of February. I've had responses from half of the cubs on whether they are attending, but if you haven't already completed that Operoo, please do so so that we know how many will be attending
